Hi, when I add Google now widget to my note 2, it just displays a grey 4x1 bar that says get google now. Nothing happens when I try to click on it. Any suggestions please?

You have to "set it up" the first time. Long press the menu button and hit "next" until it gives you the choice of "I'm in".

You have to update Google Search to the latest version to see the Google Now widget.

You can go into your google search and hit menu and go into settings to start google now. Now if there was a way to get now on the lock screen

I'm confused why you would need it on the lock screen. Isn't it supposed to do things by itself?

And you can put it on the lock screen, I just did.

See it at the end?

Im talking about the widget. Say I have a appointment in my callender with the address it will let you know how long it will take you to get there and how traffic is.

I think the google now lock screen widget is only available in either Jelly Bean 4.2 or above. You pretty much would either need a custom rom or a Nexus phone to have the google now lock screen widget.

The widget is available for all Jelly Bean phones, BUT the lock-screen widget ability is only found in Jelly Bean 4.2+... If you're on 4.1, for instance, the widget is there, you just can't use it on the lock-screen, you're bound to home screen use.
