Get rid of Google calendar illustrations?

Any idea how to get rid of these annoying illustrations? Open to different calendar apps. Have tried a few but not thrilled. Thank for any ideas!

Go to Google Store and search for Agenda Calendar Widget... there are many options in the store.

Prior to the 6P, I was using DigiCal Calendar. It has tons of features. I ended up buying the "plus" version to unlock all of the features. Very good calendar app. Try the free version first.

I said prior to the 6P because I've stuck with Google Calendar for now. I don't mind the illustrations.

Thanks for the replies. After downloading 10 different calendar apps I finally found Today Calendar and it is just what I was looking for. The split view is perfect, nice overview of the month and the details of the day. I like it so well that I might pay for the pro version.
The challenge with all those pesky google illustrations is that there are days when I might have 4 different appointments at different properties and the illustrations clutter up my screen to the point of annoyance. It would have been nice if google gave an option to turn them off. The simplicity of Today Calendar is 1000 times better for my needs.

I like the little pictures in the calendar app. Like a perfect little world in there.
