Get rid of pre-installed google apps (aka bloatware)

Hi all,

I desperately want to get rid of the pre-installed google apps and some HTC apps because they are taking up SO much storage space that is preventing me from downloading apps I actually need. HTC ones may be hard to get rid of but I want to at least get rid of the google ones. It is so frustrating not having any storage space!

Any help would be appreciated.

You can disable them, but to remove them you'll have to root your phone
