I believe he wants to get rid of this.

In the 5.1.1 update for the s6 and edge, you have the ability to remove it. But we don't know what we're going to get for the note 4. Hopefully we'll get themeing and lighter touchwiz... But they might keep those features for the next note

I have a Galaxy S5 and would love to get rid of that quickfinder & S Finder which I never use. I love my Galaxy S5 but that extra space could be used much better. I want to get rid of it without rooting my phone if anyone comes up with an option or Samsung reads this please provide a solution. I just don't have the money to upgrade to an S6 just to get rid of it.

I believe he wants to get rid of this.

My UAE variant 910c just got marshmallow today, so my phone is finally compatible with Samsung's Good Lock UI. If you're on 6.0, have you considered looking into changing up the system UI through this update? It gets rid of what your asking but gets some getting used to with all the new changes.

This is totally unrelated to the topic but I love that wallpaper, any chance you could link me to where you found it or send/post the image?

Thanks

I know is an old thread but I though I might come with the right solution. So to get rid of the S Finder and Quick connect buttons on the drop down in Android 5.0, you need to Root > go to system/etc/permissions > delete the file com.sec.feature.findo.xml That's it. You may unroot after this procedure and you're good to go. Remember that this trick works on Samsung's firmware Touchwiz only on Android 5.0. Android 6.0 has a dedicated switch which hides those buttons so you don't need to root or recompile any SystemUI.apk.

Thanks so much for that Alex! I wasted hours trying other things. This was so simple and worked perfectly.
