Get stuck in bootloop after I backup using CWM

The title says it all. For some reason each time I make a backup using CWM I get stuck in a bootloop. The only way to fix it is for me to restore the backup that I just made. Not sure why but that is correcting it.

Any suggestions on how to fix??

I don't know anything about CWM, but I am using Titanium Backup Pro to backup and it works great.
