Can someone tell me how to get to my files on the using the USB? Other phones you would just connect the device and the folder prompts would open but with this phone it is doing that. Neither does the phone give me the option to charge, usb, or tether like other androids. All im getting is MTP-Connection.

Thanks,

Never mind I see now. OP if your using Windows the device will show up in Computer as SPH-D710. You should be able to move files from there

This was the only way I was able to connect without MTP connecting.. How have you been doing it?

I experienced the same thing as the OP and went into device manager and saw that SPH-D710 (the phone) had a caution sign ( no drivers)

I clicked on it and searched for a driver and installed it. Problem solved.

USB debugging still off.

I am running windows 7 64 bit.

Sorry guys for the late response.. but know I am on WindowsXP. I still can't access my different folders

Right click on 'My Computer', select 'Properties'.
In the window that comes up, select the 'Hardware' tab and select 'Device Manager'.

Do you see a 'SPH-D710'?

So you can see your files...

No I can only see the pictures and the folders.. When I open up the folder to see music or any other files they are not present. Only pictures. When I plug the usb into the computer it only sees the device as a camera and not a storage device.

Ok I searched the settings enought to find the answer. To connect your phone's storage to a PC you have to go to settings and go to USB utilities under wireless and network..Thats a silly place to put it but oh well at least I found it..Lol
