Moto G Stylus

Currently I get to settings by swiping down from the top, then swiping down again on the little white bar just below the top row of icons (currently WiFi, BlueTooth, DND, Torch, SoundSettings, Rotation).
Is there a quicker way to get to settings w/o having to swipe down twice?

Thanks

Welcome to Android Central! I use Power Toggles to create a toggle bar in the notification panel that includes the Settings shortcut (along with a few others, like the Play Store and Calculator. This is handy if you don't want to clutter your homescreen with another shortcut.

I have a bunch of other apps there that I use frequently like phone and messages and WhatsApp- with my earlier phone, I could get to settings if I swiped down once. But that's a good suggestion- I can swap out one of the other apps in the drawer and move it to the main "desktop" area and replace with Settings. Thanks

Go to settings/system/gestures.
Then you can turn on the ability to use your fingerprint scanner to open your top down screen just swipe down on it.
