Getting a case for your LG V10?

Has anyone seen a REALLY flexible rubber case?

Some people call them jelly or gel cases. This can be easily folded over and twisted. The rubber makes it very grippy. Many of the case advertisements say "flexible rubber" but they are really not flexible and are more like a hard shell.

Any suggestions?

Thanks! :)

Well I am trying a few different cases for the v10 and I even ordered an otterbox defender direct from otterbox for the v10 last night it shipped this morning fedex ground from colorado so i will have in a couple days, when I get the otter box I will provide some insight on it and the other cases I am testing out.

Got the OBLIQ case today. Decent enough case, has a nice look and feel to it but doesn't fit the phone very snug. Has some slack around the sides and top and bottom of the phone. Just a tad too big. I'll use it for now until I find something else.

Got the Oblique case in today. Fits fine. May provide a little extra grip but the grip on the naked phone is the best I have seen so may run without the case. The fingerprint reader works fine with this case. Note that I read a review that said the Samsung FP readers allow you to open and unlock with one scan. I found that on the V10 I can press and hold power button and it opens and unlocks.

OBLIQ customer support contacted me through Amazon about the case and said they are aware of the issue that the case is too big and are working on a revision which should be out by the 17th of this month. So, if you're planning on getting this case I'd wait a little while so you get the revised version of it.

Well got my OtterBox for the v10. I set up the finger print scanner after putting in the case took a a couple minutes to setup the print but reader working good so far after some testing I will report back on a couple days

I have this Spigen case

LG V10 Case, Spigen® [Liquid Crystal] Ultra-Thin Premium Semi-transparent Lightweight / Exact Fit / NO Bulkiness Soft Case for LG V10 (2015) - Liquid Crystal (SGP11793)

Since I got the Luxe White I didn't want to hide the rose and white phone. This is a clear case that is nice and thin. Fits well too and relatively inexpensive.

Did they promise a replacement or just say your SOL?

I have one on order already, actually said it was delivered on Friday, but nope not in the box. Already notified them via Amazon so waiting on a response.

I don't have my V10 yet, but I ordered the Spigen Rugged Armor case. I'm not really sure why they call it rugged armor, since it appears to just be a TPU case but whatever. I like that the case mimics the look of the back of the phone similar to the Obliq case, & I've always liked Spigen cases. So I'm hoping it will be the same w/ this one. It says it wont be available til Nov 18th on Amazon but I got the shipping notice this morning w/ a delivery date window of Nov 23-25th.

I also ordered the Spigen tempered glass screen protector but from Ebay. I dunno if I'll try to use both or just one or the other. I've always gone with one or the other in the past, but I figure I'll decide that once I have the phone for a while.

I also really like the Verus case a few others have posted. I may snag it once it comes down in price some. Others I like are the bumper case that LG is selling. I think it does the best job of keeping the metal sides as a design factor of the phone. The other I like a lot is the Spigen Slim Armor case w/ a kickstand. I may pick it up later too for use while traveling.

I've had the Verus case on for a while now. I have dropped my phone 2 times and it performed beautifully. No damage at All and case still looks beautiful! Highly recommend it, I purchased it at $16.99 on Amazon. Worth every penny!

Ah, 16.99 isn't as bad as what I was seeing on Ebay where it is $25-30. Looks like my phone is being delivered late tomorrow (UPS usually hits my house at about 7PM). My case & screen protector wont arrive til next week. So, I'll be flying naked for a few days. I guess this will give me a good chance to see if I really feel the need for a case/screen protector at all.

How does it work with the fingerprint scanner

As with every case available for the V10, it works perfectly on phones that don't have issues with cases, and not at all with phones that do have issues with cases

So only some phones have issues? Not all... I just don't see some.... Having issues

And yet, that's exactly the case.

You might find it helpful to read this thread in its entirety. About half the people posting to it have no issues with any cases at all.
