Getting a Droid soon!

The Droid is a fantastic phone right now. I am afraid of the Amoled screen because you cannot see it in the sunlight. The Samsung Galaxy S is supposed to have 80% less glare on the screen so you can see it in the sunlight. The Droid is somewhat difficult to see in bright light but workable. So I may have to stick with the Droid for a while until other companies come out with a non reflective screen like the Samsung.

I think the easiest work around is having the brightness at 100% in the sunlight, makes it MUCH easier to see..so I just use the BW Brightness widget to switch from lowest brightness to 100% whenever I go outside..

I do agree with you though, the glare is tough..

Ok.

I need to pay off a collection bill first. I'm going to pay it off on April 30th. (not happy, but lesson learned.) :(

Would I be able to sign up for service on the same day? If so, Best Buy or Verizon store?

Thanks,
Jamie

I've had mine for a week. The more I use it the more I like it. Just got 2.1 today. It added pinch to zoom, live wallpaper and speach to text.
