Ok, dumb, newbie question: I just got a 16GB replacement for the 8GB one in my new HTC Evo 3D. I'd like to replace it but am wondering if I need to do anything yet. I've installed a bunch of apps but haven't intentionally saved things to the micro SD card - I'm a bit unclear on how that works. Is it similar to the old PalmOS and Windows Mobile where you have to specifically save apps to the card and hope they work ok from there? Could it be as easy as plugging my phone into my PC and plugging the new card into the PC as well (via the supplied SD adapter), and copying all the files from one to the other, then just removing the old card and putting in the new and that's it?? I know the Green Lantern Movie (which I still haven't watched, mainly because it kept failing) is on it, and I've taken a few pictures and a video, but that's it...

Copy the existing sd card onto a computer and transfer the files to the new sd card (make sure the new card is properly formatted first). Put the new sd card into the phone and you'll be good to go. All apps are automatically saved onto the phone unless you specify otherwise.

What srkmagnus said. Shutdown your phone, take SD card out, plug card into PC, copy all data from it, insert new card into PC, paste all data from othe card to new one. put back in phone and boot up. You should be good.
