Getting a "no internet connection!" pop up

I am running rooted stock gingerbread, and I started getting frequent pop up error messages stating "no internet connection! Only local file access will work". I get it when placing a call while on 3g, and also when switching from 4g to 3g and back. It does not happen when placing a call while connected to wifi. The call goes through and I can also use internet as usual but these messages are just annoying. I have a brother with an epic that gets these same pop up messages. Does anyone else get it? What can we do about it??

Actually that is a problem that's floated around on this forum before. I think there were several people complaining about the same thing after the froyo update as well. Since I didn't have that issue I can't remember how or if it was figured out. Hopefully someone will be able to remember and post it.

Ok I actually figured it out by clearing my data and reinstalled my apps a few at a time and found the troublemaker! I had an app that kept on sending that message. Deleted it and everything is great once again! (I wish there would be like a diagnosis app that would help find apps that are making trouble!)

It was "kol halashon kiosk", which is kind of a streaming lectures app.

Thanks! I was also getting this message the last few days and I couldn't figure out what caused it. Of course I installed this same app a few days ago. Now I know and imm uninstalling it.
