Android Central Question

This is the AT&T S9, it was working a week ago, now I have an error, I'm not sure if i accidentally disabled something with bk manager but I've tried adding everything back and still getting the error. Anyone else having issues?

Bring it into your local AT&T store. If they can't fix it, ask them where the Device Support Center is - they can.

Confirming this is an at&t version, not unlocked? And your Sim is new(ish)? I assume you've reboot phone? Cleared cache? you say, you've already enabled everything you previously disabled? Are you sure? If so, try turning off all radios (airplane mode) and then try wifi and wifi calling again. if still a provisioning failure, cut your losses and factory default phone.

Yes, att version. Brand new Sim. Cleared cache partition, enabled every checked box.
Tried the turning off radios and airplane, etc.

It was working so it's very strange, I really thought it was the package disabler but now I'm thinking it could be an att or phone issue. I guess if att Device Support center can't fix it then I will try the reset. If I reset it am I correct in assuming that I can back up current settings with smart switch first or would that just reload the problem?

After almost 2 weeks with the phone it would suck to have to reconfigure everything from scratch

Backup and restore of phone settings hopefully wouldn't restore the problem. Nevertheless, try it. After the factory default and restore if wifi calling still fails, try a default and no restore.

When I default my phone I choose the more manual approach. Yes it takes a few hours to put it all back....not very therapeutic, but you'll be happier (usually) in the long run.

I don't know if you have checked, but a possible cause of this is ATT may have the wrong IMEI number in their database. That can happen, for example, if you get a new phone and for some reason the database isn't properly updated. The only way to fix to call ATT and have them check and update if needed.

I haven't checked IMEI with att, I guess I will bring it up when/if they call me back. I reached out to them 3 times on the issue and they keep saying they will get back to me but don't.

The customer service seems really crappy compared to verizon.

Att says the IMEI number is correct, so I guess that's not the issueAtt says the IMEI number is correct, so I guess that's not the issue.

They still have no fix for me
