New to the forum but trying to get ready for my new phone... This question may be fairly easy but this is my 1st 3G smart phone to own...lol Ok...is there a way I can take my current contacts on my LG enVtouch & transfer them to my new gmail account? My new DINC will be here on Friday & would like to start using gmail with my contacts added...or will I just let have to let verizon transfer them over like I have in the past? Or is there any other suggestions...

Welcome to the forums. Does the enVtouch utilize Verizon's backup assist program? If so you could upload everything to Verizon's site, and then login and export your contacts to a CSV file. From there you can import them into Gmail.

Thanks a bunch Cory Streater...for the info & it was quite easy. I've been kind of skimming the threads here for info but is there 1 or 2 threads in particular that would be the best help in getting to understand the cool features of the DINC that you would recommend?

Well, there are features specific to the Droid Incredible and then there are features common to all smartphones. If you're specifically interested in the Incredible's features then dig into the subforum for the Incredible. Don't overlook the other forums though as there are definitely cool Android features as well.

I'm not sure about Verizon, but I went from a Plam PRE to an EVO and the Sprint store moved all my contancts over for me.

Some smaller stores will do this for free. The larger ones will charge you like $15. Either way they transfer all contacts ad pictures, but its not very smart to pay for it when you can do it yourself pretty easily for free.

This is why I prefer smaller Verizon stores tho.
