Getting "no sim card" error on wifi only tablet.

Bought a refurbished Samsung Note Pro 12.2 to use as wifi only. It must have had a sim card in its former life. How can I reset it to be a wifi only unit?

I don't know that you can. Every time I power on a phone which doesn't have a SIM in it at the time, I get that message. Tapping makes it disappear, and since power-ons are infrequent, it's no inconvenience. It's meant to be, and of course is, helpful in normal cases.
