Getting Ready for My Incredible!

Just checked and my Incredible ships a week from today. Already have my upgraded battery and Seidio Innocase II Surface case. Now the question is...this is my first Android device so I have some level of learning curve ahead of me.

However, would appreciate any and all suggestions to help expedite that process.

Any particular setting changes need to be made?

Is setting up email and all simple? Is Swype useful? Recommend the Battery Indicator app?

What are the top ~ must have ~ apps and where can they be downloaded?

Feel free to chime in with anything else you have found to be helpful for us newbies

Gmail setup is simple, not sure about other service providers.

I find swype is a must and couldnt imagine being without it.

Get a google voice account.

Wont have to pay for texts and you will get free visual voicemail.

if you have a .edu email or know anyone with a .edu email then google will give you an instant invite.

Time to go to your local college and try to get some girls willing to help you with a GV account or if they are willing to help you out with something else,, that would be cool to I guess.
