Getting rid of com.common.shudownlisteners

[Android Central Question]

I've downloaded an app that must have had a virus on it that I deleted, but the virus is still there. There's an annoying amount of popups and it keeps asking me to download things to give them access to basically everything on my phone. I've seen another question like mine but wasn't very helpful. I've also noticed files in my phone that were downloaded hiden files that were downloaded recently. Everytime I delete them, the pop-up ads temporarily go away and in their place lies a pop-up that reads "there was a problem parsIng the package" before the files redownload. I've tried everything except taking it to an expert. Is there anything I can do?

Have you tried using Malwarebytes? It helped me when I had a similar problem. Good luck.

Welcome to Android Central! It may be worthwhile to back up your important data, then do a factory reset. When you set the phone up again, do it as a new phone, rather than automatically restoring all of your apps.
