Getting rid of the default numerous for a contact.

I want to clear the "mark as default" In a contact but I cannot figure out how to do this on my Samsung Galaxy S4. Can someone help?

What exactly do you mean by default contact? Haven't seen that on mine

In the contacts you can select a number that will automatically be dialed when you put the phone to your ear. You "mark by default". In other words it will place a checkmark next to the number you want dialed by default. The problem is once I select this option in contacts I can't figure out how to unselected it. Hope this helps because it is driving me crazy.
