Anyone firgure out how to get rid of the Verizon stuff wanting to load every tiem you switch to Disk mode?

Mine doesn't do that. Then again, I think it has something to do with my PC being set to NOT autorun, either through the antivirus software or through some other trick I used a long, long time ago.

From user heffe 2001 in the apps that can be removed thread...

Looks like you can remove /system/etc/CDROM.ISO to get rid of that prompt to install the Verizon drivers every time you plug your phone in

I can confirm that this works. Need to have root to remove.

Good luck

Glad I could help. I spend a fair amount of time just reading. Sometimes it sticks and sometimes it don't

I read, and read, but so many threads between here and XDA. Sometimes you cant just read enough.
