I am still getting about 3 hours 12 min of On screen time after the 4.3 update. Should it have been different? What battery saving tips do you guys use? Best app? settings? Thanks for any help in advance.

I've been getting a full day and a half out of my battery. Around 5 hours of screen time.

I just have location services turned off, email set to be manually updated, turn my wifi off when I'm not using it, close out my apps when I leave them, brightness set to auto, and force stop apps that I don't use.

Standby time has been great, but the screen still eats up the battery when I'm using it heavily, but the screen eats up all phone batteries if you stay on it.

I do all these things excluding manual email checking. I need it to fetch constantly for work. I am getting on average 1 full day. But light use I still go to bed with 40-50% left.

4.3 does not increase my battery life. Actually it worsens the battery through its inherent OS wakelocks.

4.3 increased my standby time (by reducing usage of battery by Android OS, Media and other system stuff). I don't think it should directly reduce actual usage of battery by applications you run. But you benefit because system uses battery less though.

I had ridiculous battery life when I first got it, like 6 hours SOT. Now I get About 4 hours(this waiting till it beeps at you at 15%). Android OS, android system, and chrome are always the top in usage other than screen.

Chrome and other apps can be top battery users if you use your phone for long period. But having Android OS or Android System as top is not very common.
