So, I am selling my iPhone on ebay and as soon as I get the money for that, I am going to go and purchase a new HTC Incredible 2!! It was a very, very bad choice getting an iPhone. It sucked and it was boring. I am actually deciding between a thunderbolt and incredible 2 but there is not 4g where I am at yet so I am leaning more towards the Inc2. Anyone else have any insight?

If you're not going to have 4g soon then the main reason for the bolt is gone. Inc2 will also have much better battery life due to the larger battery/smaller screen combo.

I'm insanely happy with my bolt even thought I'm not in a 4G area, but I suspect if I knew I wasn't getting 4G for a while the DINC2 would be definitely be an appropriate replacement. I have a hard time going back to 4" phones now, but I wouldn't have known the difference. I think you'll love it.

The DInc 2 is a much better phone then most are saying. If you are not in a 4G area it is the best smart phone on Verizon and the best Global phone on Verizon period.

Pros:

Price
Battery Life
Super LCD screen
Gorilla Glass
4" screen
Overall the best feeling phone I have held in my hand
Call Quality
HTC Sense 2.1

Cons:

VZW Apps
External Speaker

Inc2 looks like a very good option to me, at least from LTE-lacking Montana. Global is nice, and there is something to be said for refinement of an already great phone versus testing the waters with bleeding edge new.

Ps. If your iphone is Verizon, I might be interested

To me yes it will be a solid android phone hopefully it will hold me over until we see a nexus device on VZW. Now if fedex would just move my phone its been sitting in Memphis since yesterday morning

Mine too! Come'on Fedex!

I returned my Bolt for the DINC2 even though I live in a LTE area. The speed was awesome and impressive but the battery life and size I couldn't get used too.

So far my wife and I enjoy our DINC2s.

Have had the Incredible 2 for two days now and I LOVE it. I came from the Orig. Moto Droid.

I originally upgraded to the Thunderbolt. A few problems I had with the bolt are - much shorter battery life vs the Incredible2 and the Thunderbolt is way too big and bulky and way too heavy for me. It wasn't comfortable to hold and use with one hand at all.

The Incredible2 is a great size and runs great. Battery has been REALLY good for a smart phone for me.

Got my incredible 2 this morning and it is by far amazing. I had the DX before and an iPhone and neither one compare. It has a great feel and awesome battery life. I absolutely love it.

I'm sporting the iPhone 4 right now. I had the Dinc and really loved the phone. I ended up with the DX, for about 6 months. Disliked some things about the phone, namely the odd size. It felt like a brick in my pocket. Had the opportunity to sell the DX and get the iPhone. Now, I am craving more screen size. What to do? LOL

I am waiting for my DInc2 coming from the original Droid. Tell us how she compares. Battery life, responsiveness, sound quality, more?

Umm, buy the Incredible 2. :p

But in all seriousness, it really is a great compromise. Before buying mine, I was super paranoid about the phone being too big. I went and looked up the dimensions in millimeters of a bunch of phones I was familiar with and compared the numbers to the Inc2's because I was that paranoid. Turns out it's the perfect size and I had nothing to worry about.

IMHO This is one of the best phones I have ever owned. The screen is just the right size. The entire workings of this phone are a vast improvement over the D1. while not as fast as the Thunderbolt it is faster and smoother than the D1

I use my ipod touch for music and my I pad 2 for video so I don't see the need for 4G on a phone.
