Getting tired of biased reviews

AMOLED is nice and its striking on reviews, but is it so much better it makes up for the lack of durability? I think the "friends" will disappear. While modularity was a neat concept, there are two of these phones out and neither has people clamoring for them. I think that LG will keep the removable bottom primarily for battery removal and replacement. I don't think "bias" is the right word. Samsung is the target, and the other Android devices are measured against it. LG missed the target with the G5. Good phone, but they bet on the wrong features. Now they need to start correcting that. V20 and G6 can erase any doubts if they deliver.
I agree. LG phones have reviewed well many times in the past.

I'm quite happy with my display. It's great for a phone. I will never buy a phone because of a screen and I have never understood why it is so important to people. It's a phone, not a TV.

For a lot of folks their phone is their main media consumption device. It's not just kids either. I am 50 and I love watching Netflix and Hulu on my phone with headphones, especially at night if the wife falls asleep early. I value a good screen

I agree. My Note 4 is everything to me; Netflix, porn, writing, work(I watch a lot of dailies, and promo spots), bills, HBO Now, camera, and DJI Phantom 4 RC interface and video playback. The screen is very important to me, and on the Noe 4 the screen resolution is the same as the Note 7. I feel like I got the last great Note series phone before Samsung tansitioned from a Clydesdale to an Arabian stallion - I prefer a work horse.

The screen is very important.

Good screen, not great. I watch videos most of my shift on Monday and Tuesday night, because changing sale prices is the closest I get to a break at work.
