Getting updates on non-carrier model

Still waiting to get an update on my dual sim V20 as the last one was December 2016. I contacted LG but they said I should contact my carrier but I am not sure what they can do as this handset was bought unlocked and not linked to any carrier. Shouldn't I get the updates directly from LG. Does anyone have a version later than December for the dual sim version?

I'm waiting on updates too. But phone is working fine so it's not really needed.

Some of our Indian friends found their update on LG Bridge. Yours might be there too.
