Ghost icon in notification bar?

Just wondering if anyone has delt with ghost icons in the top bar? I clear the notification but a dimmer (ghost image) remains...is something wrong with my phone? Lgg5 running 7.0 new about 8 months old.

Welcome to the forums. Does the ghost icon appear on a screenshot? Have you already tried changing the wallpaper?

Sounds like either the Snapchat notification icon, or an idle app icon. On one of my older phones I enabled something to notify me about apps that were seldom used so that I could decide to delete them. But like others are saying, a screenshot would help alot more.
