Maybe im just blind but i havent been able to find this feature

Play a video, pull out the S-pen, select smart select

Ah, never even occured to me to try smart select. I coukd have sworn I saw a video or something of an separate button under the air commands, thats what confused me.

And if it's a video you already have then you'll see the option when you play the video.
