Just made my first gif from a Note 7 video. I want to text it to friends, but the file is too late. Is there a way I can compress it?

Sadly gifs are sort of big and MMS doesn't like big files (either do carriers).

Yeah that was a buzz kill...... Seems like linking the gif is the only option....... Kik messenger doesn't support them either and Facebook messenger has limit aswell

I made a gif and tried to send it over FB messenger, and it would show "sending fail" so I guess this is the reason why. bummer!

Signal allows GIF's. It's not text but quite frankly I hate text messaging. I'm slowly converting everyone I talk to away from WhatsApp and to Signal.

Same thing happened to me. I remade it with the lower quality setting and it worked. Annoying though.

How do i make em work with instagram or whatsapp.. whatsapp sends it but its only a picture. And ive sent bigger files. Same with instagram. Having a gif maker is useless if its almost impossible to share them

Whatsapp doesn't allow GIFs currently. Don't use Instagram so can't speak to that.

Sadly this is the case the files are always too large...it either has to be a 3 second gif or find a chat client that will allow the size

I agree with this so much !!! It's a lot of fun making these gifs and whatnot but really suuucks when you can't share them with anyone UGH !?!? My husband asks why bother having it when he can't see what gifs I've made ahem ahem !?!?!?

Use samsung link sharing app add-on. You upload the gif then send a corresponding link to it to the person. The link is good for 24 hrs for them to view or download

Gifs need to be under 7 seconds for it to work. And I forget if I used the lower quality for it.

I'm a planning to play around and make some gifs over the weekend ??

Hopefully keeping them short and sweet so i can share ......... finally ??
