This isn't a supported update from Verizon or Samsung... eventually, an upgrade to your phone's O/S will probably be pushed over the air by Verizon. Some additional bugs will probably be fixed by then (though the unofficial version will probably stay ahead of Verizon's versions in terms of bug fixes). But with the official version you won't have the option of getting a slimmed-down version that gets rid of the unnecessary bloatware apps.

I'd pass on this upgrade.

My messaging works fine but I use the go launcher and when I reset the ok hone it is back to the old launcher and when I select the go launcher again all my desktop widgets are gone

Read up and you will see it's still pretty buggy and instead of drawing attention and having the Dev's flooded with complaints they might wait a little for a more stable build.
