Gingerbread NOW available

Why do you need to install the deodexed version of GB? You realize that you won't be running rubiX anymore, right? And did you check to see if rubiX BlurryBread is already deodexed?

I thought I remembered talk that if you flashed BlurryBread, it was pre-deodexed. I am not 100% on that though, and when I look at the original post on AllDroid, I don't see it. Does anyone else know for sure? I know there's a way to check with root explorer, but I can't remember what it is.

Go to /system/app using a file manager like Root Explorer. If there are not any files that end in .odex then you are on the deodexed version.

Can somebody check since I do not have Root Explorer...

Reason I wanted to was to run some of the themes that are being available...however since my post i been thinking i am better off with rubiX and I rather wait for the full ROM...

"Install Instructions:

This theme requires you to be on the DEODEXED leak, if you are not, do NOT install this theme. If you are, install via Bootstrap Recovery (D2 Recovery, not DX Recovery). Wipe Cache if you bootloop and enjoy!"

So I am guessing if it work for you it means that rubiX is Deodexed.

Cool I will try it out later on.

Plus, Juicemane himself is saying it works with rubiX BlurryBread.

I'm glad. It's a nice theme.

Quick noob question. Can you restore your user setting like emails, Bluetooth pairing, etc... from 2.2.1 to this version. I know you can't Nandroid or Titanium backup from trying and having my phone looping at the home screens and getting stuck on the boot M logo?
