In response to request for the few extra mods that I put together for a theme for Gingerbread 2.3.3 that I was working on but after noticing that Juicemane had put together a theme that was very similar I decided to just put together a installation that will change the few differences I had already completed.
THIS IS ENHANCEMENTS OF THE GINGERCOMB ORIGINAL THEME.
Attached is a version to flash through Bootstrap to add the extra add-ons
(FLASH Gingercomb Juiced FROM HERE BEFORE FLASHING THIS )

Installation instructions.

ALL INSTALLATION PROCESS WILL BE INSTALLED THROUGH Droid 2 Bootstrap or Droid X bootstrap..

MOUNT SYSTEM BEFORE INSTALLING EACH STEP..

1. Install "Gingercomb Juiced" from [THEME] Gingercomb with a touch of Juice - 2.3 Gingerbread Theme - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum.

2. Install Wild_GingercombExtras.zip from Wild_GingercombExtras.zip OR
INSTALL THIS ONE TO ADD CRT ANIMATION VERSION....
Wild_GingercombExtras+CRT_Animation.zip

3. Install Black and Blue Market (black_market_2.3.4_transparent_blue.zip) This was a two part installation for this theme to work, but the first part is already completed in Wild_GingercombExtras.zip



4. Enjoy the new layout..

I just installed Juiced and WOW how sexy is that Honeycomb boot!! I finally got a theme rockin that works! Time to go for step 2 and 3 now....

Continued...EVERYONE NEEDS TO INSTALL THIS!!! Seriously, this is one of the nicest looking add-ons I have had on my X. Many ups to the devs on this for sure.

Ok number 2 is not sticking for me. My Market app shortcut is back to the usual green and when opened its all green. Gona flash it again

EDIT: Ok stupid me forgot to wipe again,lol. Wiped data, reflashed everything and now I am fully Juiced! Damn this is good lookin stuff

I have a silly question that is randomly important to me. You know the glow you get in GB when you hit the top or bottom of a list? What color is it with this theme?

It's a faded blue-ish tint

You should not need to wipe data, just mount the system before each step... Also step 2 will still have the stock Market, because I setup step 3 to add the transparency theme. The install originally needed you to override the stock installed Market and allow access to file to theme it, I added the override installation to the 2nd process but theme is installed in step 3.

Basically this is just a theme and I do not believe it should modify any apps on the unit except the customized apps so I believe you should be ok. I would backup before running to play it safe.

Heh, I have the same problem! I'm okay with it, I just thought it was funny. Weird thing to happen. Love the theme either way

I'm not using the CRT animation so I can test this but if I have time I may try installing and see if I can figure out the bug.. Since the gMail theme was originally designed for 2.2.1 it may be a simple code issue do to version differences.

Although the icons are in the app drawer, I cannot change them to those. I just put the Punisher on the app drawer cuz I have that in my album. But I do like the new set. Any ideas?>

From the screen shot it appears you are using LP and the dock and icons in my screenshot is the Gingerbread stock launcher. the 3rd party launcher does not use the Gingerbread launcher unless you find a theme.

Also I almost got the CRT Animation added to work with my modded theme.

Thanks for the info. I did have LPP but since I installed the newest mod update from rom manager from Beese(?) and now I am straightened out with the dock icons. Little different set up now with just 4 icons and the app drawer on the right side

Check OP and download the added file under option 2 installation process, CRT has been added, you can flash over original installation to add this or if you reload unit just use the CRT version, its the same as other install with just added the CRT Animation..

CRT works great now, but now I don't have the Blue market. lol. And I actually did everything over to be safe. Mounted the system and then installed all 3 parts. No idea what I'm doing wrong. Thanks again!

Edit: Nevermind, all is good now. I installed the last file again and the Blue Market returned. Thanks so much for your work! It's truly appreciated!
