I've been traveling to take care of my Mom (she lives in a different state) for a while. Unfortunately, the guest room I'm in has no alarm clock, so I've been using my phone for the purpose. It would be really nice to be able to prop it up securely so I can see it better.

The Obvious Places

I'd use it next to my PC so when I'm on my computer I can still see the phone (and essentially use it as a large clock) and next to my bed, so I can view lightning bug's clock on my G1. Then when I get the G2 I'd probably make some enhancements to the coasters using Sugru. Also in the case I'd throw a party I'll likely use it next to my stereo, but on my G1 so when I get calls on the G2 it won't interrupt the music ;-). Gotta hate phone DJing.

I'd use the coaster while at my desk on my laptop looking at Androidcentral.com and in my car while using GPS. If I get a job with VZW I'd also use it at work so people can ask me where I got it. =)

I would use this EVERYWHERE. I take my laptop with me most places. I'd toss it in my bag and use it to prop my phone while I'm tethered.

Perks: Shows off my phone, protects the screen on camera from gettings scratched, holds phone up so I can see it, and can be used for landscape or portrait. Great stuff. Would also promote the site.
