Gizmodo Tears Apart Droid X

And this is the part that sucks, they're Gizmodo, and they're probably right. I expected as much, anyway.

Apple hates Gizmodo, by the way, for tearing apart the iPhone 4 prototype if nothing else.

Yeah its an all out assault. Though I just read the same report on the home page here. That eFuse deal sounds crappy and seems to be fueling Gizmodo's disdain for this phone. And that should have a thread all to itself because I can see that being a downer to the enthusiasts here. But it doesn't really relate to a review of this phone's functionality as is.

im just going to send his email to a bunch of porn sites, non effective but easy and funny

Seems like the photos of the device (not from the device) are very sharp, clear, and have blown out light colors. Looks like an iP4 photo honestly. Wonder if that's what gizmodo used?

It was a terrible article. He spent more time going to the thesarus than using the phone. Every video I've seen of the X is the opposite of what he wrote about.

Fanboys, lawsuits, and invitations aside, I guarantee you every one of those guys owns an iPhone and has a skewed via of Android.

yeah his iphone reception problems are getting worse so he got drunk and started reading from a thesaurus

I'm sure they wrote it knowing that all the "android fanboys" would link it up and pass it around to people who'd never care about Gizmodo in the first place. And it's working.

the motoblur is a tiny concerning...what is worse is if in November they start the LTE and have no backward compatibility, this will suck for this phone. VZW should have waited to get this phone out...i would bet the farm that in January of '11 if this phone was like the EVO and had both 3G and Winmax capabilities, this would be the best phone...even the incredible will be obsolete. Lets hope that they can come with OTA update to make it compatible...becuz i see this as a big let down. I had 3G iphone then 3gs comes out and it fixed the problems the 3g had...now 4G is out and it sucks( didn't get one whew!) got eris...incredible came out...incredible great phone....DX comes out today...even better phone...announcement about nov 25 new phones and LTE roll out...million to one DXi or DXI which ever you prefer will be LTE/3G phone...and ppl will want that if you travel to different places and want current technology with outgoing technology backup LOL

I like that all these websites are fanboys of everything haha.

Last i heard for the last month is Gizmodo are iPhone haters now.

It is quite possible he just didn't enjoy the phone. No harm for you if you enjoy it.

Search their site for anything containing "iPhone or Apple"...than you'll see.

That's the thing, even after the whole "purchased an iPhone 4 prototype" fiasco, they still constantly discuss the Iphone and Apple products...just with more negative references.

I gave up on Gizmodo awhile ago...it's a shame really, they use to be a great source for all things tech.

One of the comments...

"Please people, do not blur the line between Motorola and Android. Android is everything that is good about mobile devices.

Motorola is, and always has been, garbage. They just ****ed up with the original Droid and made a good phone.

That being said, I'd still pay 200 for this over a free iPhone every day of the week, but I got an Incredible."

lmfao!

The Results Are In

The Droid X isn't only a hit with Android fans, but the critics are liking it too. PCWorld's Droid X review gave the device 4.5 stars out of 5 for its large screen and intuitive software, but the handset's interface was also found to be a bit sluggish at times. Meanwhile ZDNet called the Droid X, "bigger, badder, better," while Engadget says the Droid X is "pretty enjoyable" but lacks some of refinements of HTC's Sense UI. However, the gadget blog also says the Droid X has the potential to become "the best Android phone ever made."
