I risked my beloved AT&T Note II on a 5 day backpacking adventure through Glacier National Park in Montana through downpours, crazy lightning storms, hail, but most importantly, taking photospheres on shaky bridges. Totally worth it. The Note II took fairly amazing pictures compared to my buddies' dedicated cameras.

Glacier is one of those places that a normal panorama just doesn't cut it. To capture the beauty of a scene in Glacier, photospheres are nearly required.

I thought I'd take advantage of this new dedicated AC Photospheres forum to share parts of my trip from June. I geotagged the photospheres, and almost all are spot on. Please excuse some blurring to protect the anonymity of my buddies.

Enjoy!

----Makowanis Lake---- My favorite scene of the trip. Absolutely gorgeous. Notice the waterfall in the background.

Apparently embedding 11 photo spheres in a single post does not work.

I'll get the other 10 photo spheres posted at lunch - sorry about that! :::::EDIT::::: Forget it, I'm doing it now.

----Close to Cosley Lake/Bear Mountain---- The riskiest (for my Note 2, anyway) photosphere I've ever taken. Shaky bridges aren't ideal for photo spheres.

----Near Makowanis Lake---- Besides the relentless mosquitoes, a great place to be.

I preemptively apologize for any potential double photo sphere posts - I was trying to get this posted quickly, and some posts "have to be reviewed by a moderator". I'll clean this thread up later if necessary.

These are cool. Very cool. I'll be taking a smartphone or two with me on my next trip into the Cascades and Canadian western coastline specifically to see what I can do with Photospheres, Zoes, etc.

Thanks for sharing these, for sure. :)

No problem, glad you liked them! It's nice to be able to share Photospheres somewhere besides Google+.

I had to do a little research to find out what Zoes are - those sound pretty nifty. I'd like to see how your Photospheres/Zoes turn out.
