Glad I took the plunge

After weeks of pondering I finally bit the bullet and bought the Huawei watch.

So far, so good. Not had any glitches as yet.

The only concern I had was when it was fully charged around 1pm it was down to 15% by 9pm but I had been blasting it since it arrived. I must have tried every watch face and a couple from the play store, sent numerous texts, mails and just about every bit of functionality was tried out.

It was fully charged again by 10pm. By the time I went to bed it was at 90%. I turned the screen off and put it in plane mode. The following morning it had only lost a few % of charge and I went through the day for what will probably normal use. It lasted the day and night and before I next charged it (when it was down to 10%) I had, had nearly 2 days of usage.

Hopefully the experience will carry on being a good one.

Cheers

PS All the issues I read around the charger being a bit hit and miss have never happened to me and locks charges first time!

I ended up getting one from the wife for Christmas. I am also enjoying it, but haven't seen the battery going down as much as you. I have mine in the "always on" setting, brightness at 4, connected to Google Fit for steps, ran a few times with Endomondo, getting all my emails, and still ending the day with about 35% on average.

It's a great watch. I had the Moto 350, Samsung Gear S2, and Huawei watch. Took the others back and kept the Huawei watch. Very happy I did. I, too, use Google Fit to track my steps, receive several email notices throughout the day and end my day with around 50%. Very happy with the battery life of this watch.
