Hey, so, I've been looking into the Sapphire defense for the S8, and comparing the website to the iPhone 7 plus one, it looks like the one for the S8 may be made differently. In the description of the 7+ sapphire defense website, it reads: "Aerospace Grade Self-Healing: Smart molecules remember their shape to automatically remove surface scratches." This is probably the "plastic" part of the protector. However, that's noticeably absent from that of the S8 website. My guess is they saw the ridiculously low reviews from the 7+ and changed up their design, eliminating the plastic "self-healing" aspect that seems to be the most complained-about feature from the 7+.
