Glass Screen?

Hi, I just received my myTouch 3G Slide and I was wondering if it has a glass touch screen. I've read in other posts for different android devices that have glass screens and they said that the glass was pretty resistant to getting scratched and didn't need a screen protector.

My question is does the myTouch 3G Slide have a glass screen? I can't really tell by feeling it, though I've never felt a plastic screen either because this is my first touch screen phone. Thanks!

It is glass, one way you can tell is plastic doesnt absorb temperature like glass does. Screen gets cold to touch when you are in cold temps. Also it feels glass, and most Capacitive Touch screens are glass.
