Got any plans for your next phone? I'm planning on getting the SGS2 when it comes to Sprint.

My son tells me I can't be a gamer because I only game on the phone and ipad.

I was actually thinking about the Motorola Photon since I kind of miss the world phone capability my BB Tour had.

Won't be long now if you go with the Photon. Looks like it's going to be a good phone. I wanted to like the 3VO, but I hate 3d. The SGS2 is fast and PRETTY! The only bad thing about it is it's made by Sammy and I don't like them as phone makers.

I saw the article here saying it was going to be released "soon" which does make me happy but I'm not due for an upgrade until May 2012.......LOL I was looking at the EVO 3D as well but I'm not a fan of the whole 3D thing. The SGS2 does look really nice and I get what you're saying about Samsung as a phone manufacturer. I had the Moment and it wasn't all that good but the Epic 4G was pretty nice.

If you are one of the ones that lost their yearly upgrade Sprint is making exceptions for this year. I'm using or will be using my wife's upgrade if I don't get an exception.

They are?!?! I got my EVO a little bit after its launch so I would have been eligible this year. Do I contact them to see if they'll let me upgrade this year?

Email them at upgraderestore@sprint.com Don't take no for an answer because all the June people were approved who asked. Takes about 10 days or you can call.

According to the Sprint EVP site, I'm eligible for upgrade prices

Also, just saw a pic on a front page article that the Photon is due to be released in July

They probably decided it was easier to just restore all the June upgrades than to have to hassle with it.

I'll be interested to read user reviews of the Photon.

If that site is correct and the Photon does come out in July I will be a VERY happy VDub
