I'm finally back! I'm sad to say that my Droid passed away. I woke up to the screen not responding to my touch. Thank goodness the Verizon store was able to clone me one for free. Now I'm back! Just sucks my physical keyboard keys don't light up.

*EDIT* The keyboard light is working now. Woot!

I know. I had to use my old Storm1 while I was waiting for the replacement. Now I see how Android is really making hand held computers. I was so lacking I could have cried. I'm good now though.

Anyone doing anything fun this weekend?

I'm going to my friends wedding on Saturday which I can't wait for!! Sunday I'm going to the Philadelphia Union game at their new stadium (PPL Park) wich I'm excited for as well.

I'm not sure it's gonna be fun, but I am going with my partner to his niece's graduation.
I am very nervous as I have only met his family at a funeral. He has a large family, 9 sisters & prolly 400,000 cousins,nieces &nephews....lol

I hear you. I loved my Storm but it's hard to resist this Android sexiness.

Yeah I loved my Storm1 when I had it, but having to go back to it for 2 days made me realize how SLOW of a phone it was. Pages that would take 10 seconds to load in my Droid took abut a minute or two on my Storm1. I was going crazy. I'm mailing my old Droid's body back to VZW tomorrow. He'll either be reincarnated or buried. My clone is running GREAT though, LoL. I'm trying to sway my brother from the iPhone4 to and Android phone. He has AT&T though so he only has two phones to choose from and won't switch companies. Right now he has the HTC Tilt 2 and refuses to use another HTC phone though I keep telling him it was Windows making it a crappy phone (there goes the Aria). He's going to be pissed if he gets the iPhone4. I keep telling him about the dropped calls everyone's getting.

Speaking of Apple. All of my gay friends with the exception of one (and he works for VZW) have an iPhone. I'm the lone wolf. (sad)

On another note I like Apple products (I've got a iMac and a Macbook) but I think as they get bigger they are becoming more and more like Microsoft. Without Microsoft we wouldn't be using computers like we do today, and if it wasn't for Apple most of us would probably still be using dumb phones and listening to CD's. It makes me wonder what the next big thing is.

I've had a Curve, a Treo Pro, a Pre, and now an Evo (which I love.) I've been on Crackberry, Treocentral, Precentral and I spend a lot of time on Sprintusers.

Pride was last night. Our church participated, but it's too freaking hot here in Houston so my wife and I stayed home.

My google is the same as my user name

I'm a fan of their devices too but loyalty only goes so far. The Android platform offers me more of what I want right now.

My Android is much more stable than any BB I've ever owned. I don't miss the daily battery pulls.

Hmmm.....my BB's were pretty stable and I used Quick Pull so I didn't have to do a physical battery pull myself. I set it up to reboot every morning at 5am.

Even with scheduled daily reboots with Quick Pull I still had to do unscheduled quick pulls 1-2 times a week. And the browser was SSLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWW.
