Global or lte/cdma?

Does it make a difference what setting I have my signal set on? I noticed after kit kat it's set on global?

Global allows usage abroad, but doesn't really matter which you pick

Ok Thanks. Not sure why they had it defaulted on global but I'm in the states so it makes more sense for it to be on lte.
