I know this has been covered but I can't find it for the Nexus 6p. I have Verizon, global or lte network? I lose signal every now and then on both but I'm wondering which is the best...

Doesn't matter. Leave it on LTE or Global. Back a few years ago, it helped with battery life to put it on LTE, now, not so much.

In theory if you set to Global, it scans all frequencies, including GSM, vs LTE which only uses 2 radios LTE/1x or EvDO/1x. So theoretically it will use up more battery, but probably not so noticeable.

I thought the preferred network setting for use on Verizon is "LTE / CDMA" since that's what VZW uses.

Really depend on where you use the phone. If you are in US, LTE for better battery life (not really noticeable.) When are in another Country Global give you the benefit of camping on GSM/CDMA network when LTE isnt available.

I always leave it at lte, there really is no reason to have it on global unless you travel out of the USA.
