Glowlfly App Question?

i bought this app for my s4 and i have 2 questions:
1. i have custom text alerts for certain contacts, but i only hear the default alert. please advise.
2. the default messaging app shows i have messages when i reply from the lockscreen and i have notifications turned off for the default messaging app. please advise.

Do you have no notifications set for you default app on both the app and the box unchecked in settings?
