Gmail and quick memo "app closed"

Over the last week or so I've been getting a lot of "sorry this app has closed" messages for gmail and quick memo.

Not a big deal at all, just annoying.

Anyone else having this happen?

On a Canadian h915 v20

I got it on Twitter a few times last night. Though it's a bit different because it's downloaded from the Play Store instead of pre loaded.

I was thinking maybe Google Play since it's affecting 2 such different apps, but there haven't been updates lately. Can't think of any other apps ice installed that would do something like that.

It just happened again while I was using Chrome

Anyone else having this problem?

By the way, I did a cache clear and restart this morning.

I reverted back to QuickMemo version 5.3.10, and the errors have stopped. I also disabled automatic updates for the built-in apps so that it wouldn't go back to the flaky version.

By the way, the gmail errors stopped a while back.

Are you guys with the issues happen to use a 3rd part launcher like Nova? Today my texts decided to not send a couple times. Once I removed Nova Launcher it fixed. I have a different phone but it could be a similar thing. I'll have to check too maybe apps need updated?

If you’re trying to send a TXT message but you’re receiving an error or the message just sits in your outbox and won’t send, here are some general quick fixes:

1. Check it there’s a software update available for your phone.
2. Check the Network Status
3. Try making a call
4. Free up space (See if removing Nova Launcher also reclaimed sufficient storage)
