GMail App Clips Longer Messages

[Android Central Question]

Hi I have a quick question - on some longer emails like my nextdoor daily digest and today my daily New York Times email, almost always for nextdoor and very rarely for NYT, the GMail app chops off the remainder of the email and gives a little text button at the bottom of the message that says "View entire message" which when clicked opens a new window with the whole message. I perused around the Gmail app settings and couldn't find anything relevant. Is there an easy fix for this so my emails don't get truncated? On a Samsung Galaxy S10+ with Verizon.
