Gmail app not pushing email today

Please forgive me if this has been asked before. I'm kind of in a panic as my phone and gmail app combo is my business lifeline. But today I noticed that the Gmail app has stopped receiving push emails! If I open the app and 'refresh', the emails come down, but it won't Push.

Is anyone else seeing this? I've restarted my phone, thinking something may be "stuck" but it didn't help.

Any help would really be appreciated!

Swipe your notification bar down with 2 fingers and make sure you have turned sync off.

If not...

Go to settings >general >accounts then tap on your Gmail and see if there is an exclamation point next to Gmail.

Thanks for the reply, Mike. For some reason, it just started working again last night. Maybe something was up with the Gmail push server? I don't know! But anyway, it's working!
