Gmail app notification stopped appearing.

All of a sudden, Gmail notification (from the gmail) app stopped showing up on the Gear S.
All other notifications show just fine.
I tried clearing the cache (but not deleting data) from Gear manager, still not working. (man, are there a lot of instances of Gear software in the phones application manager.)

Any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central!

Go in to the Gear Manager, go to notifications, go to manage notifications, make sure that Gmail is checked.

the notification is checked.
Gmail notifications are erratic at best, more often than not, not showing up..
Others work just fine.

No clue as to why.
