The issue with everyone seems to be they all have the app "Seal" installed with root access. If you remove root access and change the protection method to "Generic method" the app still works and so does gmail..

Interesting, i do have seal and it was on root, but when I read your message I removed root and uninstalled it... But it didn't fix the issue.

Did you reboot? It seems to have helped everyone else I've read about. Gmail App will Not send - Google Mobile Help Hope you figure it out!

Frickin finally I can send email! I never would had suspected the POS app was causing this...as I wasn't even using it to protect gmail.

I changed from root method to generic method and gmail works again for me also! I just found this today: Gmail App will Not send - Google Mobile Help but henderjr beat me to it!

my gmail doesn't send either. I don't have the seal app, so I don't know how to change the method. I am rooted though.

HEEEEELP! Gmail :when. I try sending am email it wont really do it ...it says sending but has been saying that 4 about 3weeks wat do i do?
