Gmail delays

Lately I have been seeing delays in getting Gmail through the app. Sometimes emails from let's say noon do not come in until the next morning. Anyone????

Not me..it might be the Doze mode kicking in. Go to Settings >> Device Maintenance >> Battery >> Unmonitored Apps >> Add Gmail and see if it helps.

I've began having the issue yesterday. Tried clearing the cache and force stopping, uninstalling updates and reupdating, and removing the accounts and adding them back. Nothing worked. Had to go to Inbox by Gmail.

Checked that. Not then problem. It seems really sporadic.

I have the same problem. It's 8:40 and I still haven't received my daily agenda.

Have been getting delayed gmail notifications ever since marshmallow. I found that the "Email - Fast & Secure mail for Gmail Outlook Yahoo" app is a great alternative with no delayed notifications.
