gmail help!!

How can I get my sent messages in gmail to appear in my sent folder. At one point they did, but it has stopped for about two months now. Any help is appreciated!!

In the Gmail app, tap menu / settings / manage labels, then tap on the Sent row. Then tap on Sync messages. What is that set to? Try changing the option, and see what happens.
