When I setup my Note3 a couple of weeks ago, there was a number on top of my Gmail icon (indicating unread email).
The unread number that appeared (upper right on icon) no longer appears, although it is still working for the stock email app.
Is there a setting somewhere that changed? I looked in settings and gmail settings - nothing.
Is it hidden or do I suffer from temporary blindness? (lol)
Somehow I suspect that this is no longer an option - it has changed.
I know there are 3rd party apps that allow this - BUT find it hard to believe (if removed now) that something so basic would not be present "stock"
Or perhaps, my carrier is providing this functionality and not the OS itself?
