gmail issue

When I started my new job I had to set up a work email and when I use the account on my phone it won't allow me to access pictures or files that are already saved on my phone.This only happens if I use my work Gmail account my personal account has no issue. I spoke with Verizon, Samsung, and Google and no one seems to be able to help me. I attached an image of the lock that is on the bottom right corner of my screen when I'm using work profile

Yes. But only having this problem with my phone when I access email through laptop I have no problems

No it's though gmail. When I open Gmail I have to switch to work profile.

I'm guessing it's a work profile restriction. Your work's security policy might prevent Gmail from attaching files. Did you ask your work IT about this?

You do know that your employer has put on your phone software that allows them to wipe it, right?

Yeah, I refuse to let my workplace touch my personal phone.
