Gmail issues

Ok just a few days ago *monday* gmail started to act up... I have done factory resets, wipe cache, wipe data, restores, restores from back up..

gmail first started to not push mail to the phone...... so it would just sit there when you send an email and nothing would come, even had friends try and nothing... then if i delete gmail and reinstall the update it will start to send it..

problem fixed right...........no such luck

then it started going to where when you send an email, it would just sit there saying sending and never send...

do some factory resets and boom it works again.. but not for long

this all happened after that tranquility rom.... loaded it didnt like it, removed it..

something in that rom messes up something with gmail

anyone know how to fix this?

did you try a full SBF? Im not sure but GMAIL itself may be having problems on the server.

Mine doesnt always update. Sometimes have to go into the app itself before it syncs.

What is sbf and does this explain why my outbox is full of sent messages that won't go out?

I think Google is striving for an award for the most unreliable and difficult to use email application on a cell phone.

I think Google is striving for an award for the most unreliable and difficult to use email application on a cell phone.

Go to settings>applications and find the Gmail app. Clear data. You'll have to
setup your settings in that app again though. This has been a known issue for
a while now.
