Question: I get a notification from my security camera sent to my email when there is motion detected. How can I setup a label in Gmail to notify me when an email comes from me? I am trying to figure this out but any email from me is not labeled.

Help!

You would have to set the mail from the sender to arrive in the inbox as well. This way you are notified when you receive the email, as you would any other email. It'll still show up under the label for easy access and grouping from the same sender.

To set a label choose email a d click label on top menu bar and follow through. A labels not going to forward it to you. Does your camera have a SMTP server? Does it send you an email from some address. If that's the case then open gmail settings and create filter and use forwarding. The email comes choose more filter messages like these from top menu a box will pop up and then push the search button (?) And a box pops up with a bunch of options choose forward and add forwarding address and bam create new filter. You will get notified now by usual email notification
